PTA's Mission
To make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children
PTA's Purpose
- To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community, and place of worship;
- To raise the standards of home life;
- To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth;
- To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth;
- To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social and spiritual education.

PTA Goals
2024-2025 Goals
- Host and plan six (6) Council and Local PTA meet and greets.
- To improve the communication and relationships between the Council and Local PTAs
- Transform the Council Liaison program into the Council/Local PTA Partnership Program to further enhance our relationships with Locals.
- Create a Local PTA Mentorship Program to partner strong local PTAs with smaller/new PTAs so they can assist and help one another.
- Have 100% of Local PTA achieve Active Status by October 31st.
- Assist with keeping Locals in Good Standing.
- Assist Local PTAs in increasing their 2024-2025 membership by 5%.
- Develop a program to recognize high school student members with a Volunteer Cord designation at graduation.
- Develop a business partnership or sponsorship program to allow businesses to financially assist and/or partner with the Council.
- Update and improve the ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ Council PTA website.
- Include Advocacy
- Sponsorship information for businesses
- Ability to join multiple campus PTAs in 1 transaction.
- Host and plan six (6) Council and Local PTA meet and greets.
